What is the difference between fitness equipment at a gym verses in your home?
There are various differences. however, I will highlight three. The first major difference and one of my biggest pet peeves with home workout equipment and equipment at a gym is quality. Some home workout is like something you may find at a science fair for gifted students. The equipment is ideal in concept but lacks the financial support to be manufactured with quality parts.
One way to often spot this time of equipment without ever trying it out is the second difference with home workout equipment and equipment at a gym. The second difference is price.
I understand. As moms you must consider the cost because you need to budget for dance classes, sport camps, private tutoring, food, etc. But, buying cheap home workout equipment is something that I recommend you do without. Why? Well, that leads to the the third difference between home workout equipment and equipment at a gym.
Durability. Some home workout equipment is simply not durable. This means that your days to use the equipment before you hear snap, crackle, pop, so to speak and the home workout equipment needs to be maintenance are numbered.
